***About the Beach

	One of the reasons Cove Beach is not crowded is because there is sand only during low tide. The good news is that if you watch the tide chart, you will often have the beach to yourself. During high tide, you can drive one mile to Arch Cape Beach where there is always sand. Or, within 7 miles you can visit Manzanita Beach (7 miles long), Hug Point Beach, Arcadia Beach or Cannon Beach -- each of which offer miles of scenic sandy beach.
	To reach Cove Beach, just follow the short trail that starts one block from Cove Cottage. There are always rocks that you need to walk over to get down to the beach. The rocks are about the size of softballs and require a bit of balance to walk over. Some people may not enjoy walking over the unsteady rocks.
	Cove Beach is not accessible by wheelchair.
